FOOD TECHNOLOGIST
AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL
R30 000 - R35 000 CTC

Our client is looking for a dynamic Food Technologist / Food Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate should be a team player who will thrive in our exciting and fast paced environment. The main responsibilities of this role will be to assist the Technical Manager with the management and implementation of our food safety management systems and to provide technical support to our NPD team, customers and suppliers (local and international).

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Diploma in Food Technology / Food Science
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Good understanding of technical processes and principles
Good knowledge and understanding of food safety standards; experience with food safety audits will be advantageous
Experience with South African labelling legislation and artwork sign off
Good organisational skills; strong ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Computer literate MS Office
