POSITION INFO:

RedCat recruitment is seeking a FLEET AND STOCK CONTROLLER For a well-established, growing concern, position based in Pretoria, Gauteng.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable transport.

Relevant qualification/s.

Strong computer skills (Email / Microsoft Office).

Person must be able to speak, read and write in English.

3yrs+ previous working experience in fleet and stock controlling.

Maintaining accurate stock levels by tracking incoming and outgoing goods, identifying discrepancies, and adjusting orders accordingly.

Regularly performing physical stock counts to verify inventory accuracy against system records.

Communicating with suppliers to place purchase orders, negotiate pricing, and manage delivery schedules.

Generating reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and potential stock issues to inform decision-making.

Managing internal stock transfers between departments within a company.

Identifying and addressing areas of potential stock loss or waste to minimize inventory costs.

Utilizing inventory management software to track stock levels, generate reports, and streamline processes.

Scheduling shifts, monitoring driver performance, ensuring compliance with driving regulations, and addressing driver behavior issues.

Creating and managing vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, overseeing repairs, and ensuring proper vehicle inspections.

Utilizing GPS systems to monitor vehicle location in real-time, identifying potential issues like delays or unauthorized vehicle usage.

Implementing and enforcing safety protocols, promoting a safety culture within the fleet, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Matching drivers with appropriate vehicles based on operational needs.

Monitoring fleet expenses, optimizing fuel consumption, and identifying areas for cost reduction.
