SUMMARY:
Our client, located in the scenic Breede River Valley, is involved in the cultivation, packaging and export of various fruit cultivars. They currently have a vacancy for a Financial Manager to take responsibility for the full financial function of this expanding business.

Due to the office's location, the successful candidate could reside in Wolseley, Tulbagh, or the Ceres area.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

capturing of financial data in preparation of monthly financial and management reports
accurate and timely financial reporting
management and control of systems, procedures and controls as well as maintaining the accounting system
revenue forecasting and budgets; updating cost chain and managing deviations.
financial statements and audit preparation
management of working capital requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in finance
At least 5 years post article experience (Agri - finance experience will be beneficial)
Management experience of 2-3 years
Excellent communication and computer skills
Must be able to work proactively and autonomous
Must be fully bilingual
Must be well organized and have excellent administrative skills
A relevant tertiary qualification
