FACILITIES MANAGER (CAPE TOWN)

SUMMARY:
The Functional Area Manager will oversee both technical and soft services within facilities management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. The role focuses on the management of technical maintenance, health and safety (OHSE), audits, compliance, and service delivery excellence. The incumbent will also drive strategy implementation, cost control, and risk mitigation to enhance business efficiency and profitability.

POSITION INFO:
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Technical qualification in the built environment (BTech Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Facilities Management
- Proven experience in Soft Services and Technical Services Management
- Strong financial risk management and contract management experience
- Familiarity with OHSA, municipal bylaws, labour relations, and ISO9001/18001 compliance
- Proficient in MS Office, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Willingness to work outside normal hours
