eCommerce Senior Software Developer (nopCommerce) – Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Centurion, Pretoria (On-Site)
Contract: 6 months (Limited to 1750 hours)
Salary: Market-related

Brief Description:

We’re seeking a Senior Software Developer with expertise in nopCommerce to lead the development and optimization of a high-performance eCommerce platform. This role involves custom development, API integrations, security enhancements, and performance optimization. If you have a strong background in ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, SQL Server, and 6–7 years of experience in software development, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust eCommerce solutions using nopCommerce.
Customise themes, develop plugins, and integrate third-party APIs.
Enhance system performance, conduct code reviews, and ensure efficiency.
Implement security best practices and conduct regular audits.
Work collaboratively in Agile teams and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

6–7 years of software development experience, including 3+ years in nopCommerce.
Strong skills in ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and high-traffic eCommerce environments.
Proven track record of developing software solutions for at least two customers in the last five years.
