POSITION INFO:

We have a great opportunity for a Vehicle Estimator with a dealership in Pretoria.

Duties and responsibilities:

Damage Assessment: Thoroughly inspect damaged vehicles to determine the extent and nature of the damage; Identify areas requiring repair, replacement, or refurbishment.
Repair Planning and Estimation: Develop repair plans, outlining the necessary steps and procedures. Estimate the time and cost required for each repair, considering labour, materials, and potential complications.
Quote Preparation: Prepare detailed quotes for customers, outlining the scope of work and associated costs. Ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and compliant with industry standards.
Project Management: Monitor the progress of repairs, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repair details, costs, and customer information.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience as Estimator with a Vehicle Repair centre.
Experience working within a large Panelshop dealing with high volume.
Must be able to compile quotes on TMS and Audatex.
Must be Audatex Certified.
Good people and communication skills.
Ability to handle pressure.
Matric and clean criminal record.
