POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for digging deep into individual equities? We are on the lookout for a talented Equity Analyst who is ready to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• In-Depth Equity Analysis: We need someone with hands-on experience in analyzing and investigating individual stocks. Your focus will be on understanding the financial performance of listed companies, not just broader market trends.
• Direct Stock Research Expertise: Unlike multi-manager research roles, this position demands a deep dive into the fundamentals of individual stocks. We're looking for someone who knows how to evaluate companies from the ground up, without relying on ESG frameworks, which are more corporate governance-oriented.
• Financial Statement Savvy: You should be comfortable scrutinizing cash flow statements and balance sheets, with the ability to spot both risks and opportunities in financial data.
• Experience Matters: Ideally, you have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably gained at a Wealth Manager, asset management firm, or brokerage. Your experience can be on either the buy or sell side; both are valuable to us.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A strong academic record is often essential.
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Certification or progress toward this certification is highly preferred and sometimes required for higher-level positions.

• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial statements, understand financial models, and conduct detailed equity research.
• Financial Modeling: Proficiency in building and interpreting financial models to forecast company performance.
• Knowledge of Financial Markets: A deep understanding of how financial markets operate, particularly equity markets.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify key data points and trends that may affect investment decisions.
• Proficiency in Financial Software: Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, and other financial software tools is often essential.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present research findings and investment recommendations effectively.
