Enterprise Systems Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Bloemfontein is looking for an Enterprise Systems Engineer to provide planning, acquisition, implementation, support,  & performance tuning for central server architecture components and operating systems. Inherent requirements include knowledge of common server hardware architecture including servers (CPU, bus, memory), SANS, disk arrays, network hardware; understanding of operating systems(e.g. Windows, UNIX/Linux) including processes, files, memory management and I/O systems; distributed information systems including 2 and 3 tier designs, and web-based systems; networking services and protocols and knowledge of Networker 7.4 software .
6 month-contract with possibility to go permanent or extend further.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma
• 3 years experience in server hardware architecture including servers (CPU, bus, memory), SANS, disk arrays, network hardware.
• 3 years experience in operating systems(e.g., windows, UNIX/Linux,)including processes, files, memory management and I/O systems; distributed information systems including 2 and 3 tier designs, and web based systems; networking services and protocols
• Knowledge of Networker 7.4 software

• Conduct Server & Systems Management
• Provide Infrastructure Support
• Conduct back-up administration
• Implement ICT Security
