Engineering QC Administrator (contractual)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication and maintenance, has a contractual role for and industry specific Quality Control Administrator to compile data books, arrange NDT requests, maintain quality databases and ensure HSE regulations
 
Please note that this is only a 6 month contract for a junior to mid-career level candidate, specifically focused on experience in QC Administration and Document Control experience in steel fabrication and heavy engineering environments, specifically using MS Access and Advanced Excel
 
Due to the role being contractual, only candidates in the Western Cape will be considered.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be initiative-taking in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years’ experience in managing QC administration and document control using MS Access and Advanced Excel, specifically in an Engineering field.
• You will have experience in coordinating NDT services, planning and organizing sub-contractors and service providers, as well as having knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001.
• You will have a solid understanding of populating WPS/PQR matrix/register, draft DNV offshore certificates and maintain weld registers
• You will also have proven experience in updating and maintaining work instructions and ensure document databases both online and hard copies are organized and easily accessible to management.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
