Electronics Technician

SUMMARY:
Introduction:
The client’s engineering team is seeking an Electronics Technician with at least 2 years of experience to repair industry-leading electronic products. They design and support safety equipment for the mining industry.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Electronics Technician

Salary: Market related


Responsibilities

• Fault finding, Troubleshoot and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
• Rework PCBs, solder SMD components
• Assemble and test products
• Write procedures for tests and assembly
• Onsite support for products

• Diploma in Electronics Technology or related
• 2 Years’ experience in electronic engineering
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
• Underground mining environment exposure
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
