SUMMARY:
Electrical technician/ electrician required to work in Singapore, Malaysia, and Jador. Our Client does the commissioning and Turnkey projects for Data Centres. We are looking for applicants with a solid knowledge of MV, LV, and HV commissioning and installation. Must have skills in Data centers and maintenance Management.

POSITION INFO:
ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN: DATA CENTRE
Singapore, Jador, Malaysia

Our client is looking for South Africans with solid skills in the Data Centre Field.

They are a leading role player in the data center industry

Qualifications and Experience

qualification in Electrical Engineering
3-5 years MINIMUM experience in facility and Data Centre Management Maintenance.
Skills in computing, electricity, and mechanics
Problem-solving in the areas of hardware, software, electricity, and mechanical systems

Responsibilities

Report to Senior Electrical Facility Technician.
Monitor the Facilities Operations by performing daily walk rounds
Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in critical facility systems.
Act as 1st line of response to corrective and emergency maintenance.
Ensure all subcontractors are inducted and permitted to work on site
Manage OEM’s and sub-contractors on a day-day basis
Adhere to all quality, health & safety, environmental and energy policies.
Report health and safety breaches
Be fully familiar with site escalation procedures
Create and close work orders in the nominated Computerised Maintenance Management System
Produce reports as required
Manage and arrange critical spares.
