Electrical Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Petrochemical industry is seeking to employ an Electrical Supervisor to join their team. Please note that this is a (fixed term contract).
Location: Mpumalanga, Secunda.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervisor and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Oversee site crews, providing clear direction, training and support to ensure task are completed efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Monitor work progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimise delays.
• Provide technical expertise on electrical installations, switchgear replacement and maintenance activities.
• Maintain site documentation, including timesheets, daily logs and safety records.

Experience & Qualification

• Trade Test Certification (Electrical) – essential.
• Driver’s license – valid and unendorsed.
• Proficiency in English (Afrikaans proficiency preferred)
• Sasol project experience – highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in managing electrical teams in industrial settings or on large construction sites.
• Previous experience in switchgear replacements and maintenance of large electrical installation.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
