My client, a leader in the electrical and renewable energy sector, is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and implement electrical systems in compliance with SANS 10142-1 and OHSA regulations.
- Oversee and certify electrical installations, ensuring compliance with NERSA and ECSA standards.
- Specialize in SSEG Applications.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to project teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- BEng / BSc Eng / BTech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) with ECSA.
- Minimum of one year of experience in electrical design, installations, and SSEG Applications.
- Strong understanding of SANS, OHSA, and NERSA compliance.
- Experience in solar PV systems and energy storage solutions is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
