SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Solar PV systems to join their team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong technical background in electrical power systems and renewable energy.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement MV and LV electrical systems for industrial and renewable energy projects.
Conduct electrical load analysis, fault level studies, and protection coordination.
Provide technical expertise on solar PV system design, grid integration, and compliance with industry standards.
Assist in project execution, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MV, LV, and Solar PV projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software and relevant industry standards.
Experience with power system studies and grid compliance.
Professional registration (ECSA) is advantageous.
