SUMMARY:

An opportunity to join an International Group (Local EPC Contractor) as an Electrical Engineer, in Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:
The primary responsibility will be to ensure that all designs are accurate and delivered within project timelines and tender submission deadlines. This position is well-suited for a dedicated Electrical Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality designs and contributing to dependable project estimations.

Responsibilities:

Estimation Department:
- Identify appropriate design codes and standards.
- Familiar with the South African codes and standards.
- Quality of work planning/organization.
- Timely execution of assigned tasks.
- Conformity of prepared designs to design manual, codes and standards.
- Accurate designs.
- Timely delivery.
- Accurate submitted calculation notes.
- As-built drawings.
- Preparation and submission of detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Quality of quotations requested, analyzed, and compared for conformity to project specifications.
- Quality and timeliness of inputs provided for the estimation scope, ensuring accurate project costing.
- Participation in compiling the final project offer, ensuring all estimation and technical aspects are accurate and aligned with tender requirements.

Requirements:

BEng (Electrical) Degree.
ECSA membership.
5 years’ experience.
Understanding of engineering standards.
Good presentation capability.
Good team member with concern for details, effectiveness, efficiency, quality and safety.
