Who are we: A business-to-business publishing house focusing on trade publications.
Who we are looking for: A talented and detail-oriented Editor with a strong background in the news industry who will be responsible for writing and editing b2b and trade articles.
What will you do:

Producing industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needs

Overseeing editorial processes and managing the team to ensure high-quality output
-
Ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets
-
Developing and implementing strategic initiatives and promotional activities

Managing, planning and reporting on costs for freelancers
-
Mentoring young journalists and fostering their professional development
-
Networking with industry contacts by attending relevant functions and events
What will you need:

Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essential

Ability to find, write and edit lead stories for a niche sector

Tertiary qualification in communications or journalism
-
Familiarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout)

Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and design

Willingness to travel as needed

A valid passport, driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory
