Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create detailed electrical, control, and instrumentation schematics using CAD software.
- Testing & Inspection: Ensure system functionality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the implementation of electrical systems to guarantee efficiency and reliability.
- Project Management: Manage E&I projects to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource allocation.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and installations adhere to safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide on-site support, diagnose system issues, and implement solutions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, reports, and technical documentation for future reference.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Engineering Diploma.
- ECSA registration or Candidate status is advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Experience in OEM equipment design and fabrication is beneficial.
- Knowledge of project management principles is an added advantage.
Technical Skills- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, AC/DC systems, motor control, and transformers.
- Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing schematics and layouts.
- Understanding of networking basics (LAN, WAN, cybersecurity).
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and safety protocols.
