SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with a strong background in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems in a mining environment, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement E&I systems for mining operations.
- Perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with MHSA, OSHA, and relevant mining regulations.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of E&I equipment.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Develop technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and manuals.
- Oversee PLC, SCADA, and automation systems integration.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5+ years of E&I experience in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, and control systems.
- Familiarity with mining regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
