Driver / Tour Guide

SUMMARY:
5* Boutique Hotel in Ballito is looking for a Driver / Tour Guide that can also act as a general assistant.
 
We are looking for a professional and charismatic individual to provide exceptional tour guiding and driving services to guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences, showcasing local knowledge, and ensuring the safety and comfort of guests.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Driving guest / guest transfers & pick ups
Welcoming guests
Maintains knowledge of assigned locations
Briefs tourists on local dos and don’ts
Creates and modifies the tour’s itinerary
Schedules activities and site visits
Makes reservations when necessary
Shares stories and facts about the location

Requirements:

Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and Tour Guide certification
Proven experience as a tour guide / driver in a luxury hospitality setting
Excellent knowledge of local attractions, history, and culture
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Highly organized
