Position: Draughtsman

Location: Limpopo, Greater Sekhukhune District, Burgersfort

Job Type: 24 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

Create detailed technical drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet requirements and specifications.
Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
Revise drawings as necessary based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
Maintain drawing files and documentation for future reference and use.

Required Qualifications:

A diploma or certificate in Draughting, Engineering Graphics and Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

Experience:

5+ years in a draughting role, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to mining or heavy industry projects

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of mining industry standards and practises.
Understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in CAD software applications.
Experience with 3D modelling software.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in mining environments.
