Domestic Underwriter

SUMMARY:
Kloof - We are seeking an experienced and qualified Domestic Underwriter to join our client, a long standing and well-established financial services provider in the Upper Highway area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Current Business: Ensure existing client portfolios are managed efficiently and accurately.
• Client Retention: Implement strategies to retain clients by delivering excellent service and solutions.
• Quotations: Prepare and manage quotations for new and existing clients.
• Renewal Processing: Handle policy renewals, ensuring timely updates and client satisfaction.
• Policy Endorsements: Process amendments to policies as required by clients or insurers.
• Liaison with Insurers: Communicate and negotiate effectively with various insurance providers to meet client needs.
• Underwriting: Assess and manage risks effectively, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure minimal exposure for clients and the company.

• NQF Level 4 – Short-Term Insurance
• Class of Business: Must have completed both Personal and Commercial Lines training.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Domestic Underwriter in a short-term insurance environment.
