SUMMARY:
Our client is in the insurance sector and is looking for Domestic / Commercial Claims Administrator

Location La Lucia Ridge

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12, and RE5, or a NQF4 qualification related field is typically required.
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in claims administration, with a focus on both domestic and commercial lines, is preferred.
Experience within a short-term insurance (broker advantageous.)
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication and letter writing skills, and proficiency in claims management software (Cardinal 360) and Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Processing: Manage the end-to-end process of insurance claims, including data entry, validation, and finalization.
Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, explain policy terms, and address inquiries.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all claims, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
Compliance: Ensure all claims processing complies with insurer legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as underwriting and the insurance broker, to facilitate smooth claims handling.
