SUMMARY:
We are assisting our client in recruiting for a Dynamic and driven Distribution Executive

POSITION INFO:
The Distribution Executive develops and directs the operational strategy, business processes and systems for overall distribution operations, including but not limited to, order fulfilment, warehousing, inventory management and logistics. This is an integral part of the supply chain and involves establishing a network of clients to service the requirements of a particular target market. Maintains customer rapport and build relations with customers. The focus is to develop long-term relationships with end customers as part of the Distribution leg of the clients. Gather and communicate intelligence in the market, with the aim to taking good care of customer base.

Job Requirements

Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Plastics and/or Chemicals Industry.
Proven work experience as a distribution manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
Proven sales/distribution track record.
Experience in customer support.
Acute attention to detail.
Proficient communication and soft skills partnered with a strong business acumen.
Established customer relationships will be an advantage.
Good industry knowledge.
Market knowledge.
Able to build rapport and maintain relationships with key customers.
Able to identify and explore new relationships with potential customers.
Able to identify business growth and expansion opportunities.
Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Dual Office and Home-work based. Home office should be equipped with good,stable internet connectivity and backup power supply to be able to work during loadshedding.
Driven, Hardworking, go-the-extra-mile Professional who delivers results.
Presence in office – Minimum 2 days per week together with Sales Developers and Supply Chain Administrators.
Take leave in agreement with team members and ensuring that the work is taken care of.
Conduct email correspondence efficiently, answering mails within 24 hours of receipt.
