SUMMARY:

DBN000018 – Distribution & Logistics Officer - Hammarsdale

Purpose of the Job:
To ensures that goods are stored & delivered efficiently and on time.

Required Qualifications

Matric
Tertiary Qualification in similar field preffered

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Route Planning, Loadsheets & Distribution – Based on lead-time / orders
Driver Management
POD Filing & Record keeping
Assisting with stock Counts
Monitoring of Finished Goods for KZN and other Deliveries & raising potential stock outs with the Operations Manager
Monitoring of production progress for outgoing DC orders and Distributor orders
Liaising with DC for DC Booking Slots
Liaising with the regional distributors for booking slots / deliveries
Booking of Trucks & transport for collection of raw materials & Deliveries
Sales Order reporting, including attending weekly production and planning meetings
Managing transferring of stock between warehouses
Following up daily on all purchase orders
