Job Description

As Director of Software Engineering you will have the autonomy to develop new ideas and concepts for the business with a large focus on developing and coaching the teams. You will need to be people driven and live the values of the company. 80% of culture is non verbal and this company has the culture of "this is a safe space to fail". They are small enough to be agile but big enough to be able to pay for what they want. The company is looking for somebody who can make an immediate impact keeping in mind the considerations of their customers.

- You would be responsible for coaching the teams who develop, test and implement new software.

- Maintaining and extending the existing code base

- Managing the development of new products

- Line management of several development teams spread over different products in different countries

- Support constant growth and learning of the development teams

- You would need to have a passion for software development principles, architecture, following best practices and Agile methodology - modelling to your team and encouraging learning.
