Are you an actuarial expert ready to shape the future of financial services in Africa? Our client, one of the leading banks in Africa, is seeking a Director of Actuarial Services to lead strategy, risk assessment, and financial modeling.

POSITION INFO:
Director of Actuarial Services

What You’ll Drive:
â Develop and execute actuarial strategies aligned with business goals.
â Oversee pricing, reserving, and risk management models to optimize profitability.
â Ensure full compliance with IFRS, Solvency II, and local regulations.
â Provide leadership with expert insights on financial risks and market trends.
â Build and mentor a high-performing actuarial team.

Your Profile:
âï¸ Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
âï¸ Fellow or Associate of a recognized actuarial body.
âï¸ 10+ years’ actuarial experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
âï¸ Strong expertise in actuarial modeling tools (Prophet, Python, SAS).
âï¸ Exceptional strategic, analytical, and leadership abilities.
