Basic: R600 000 PA

Are you innovative and passionate about current trends and creating digital
marketing campaigns? African Ambition is looking to hire a digital marketing
manager to support the marketing team in effectively promoting its message
across all digital channels. On a daily basis, they will manage African
Ambition’s social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and
create email blast campaigns to target key customers.

Objectives of this role

• Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
• Establish and execute a digital marketing strategy to distribute content.
• Work with and manage a team of writers, marketers, and other stakeholders to maintain digital presence.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social channels.
• Identify, analyse, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience.
• Create and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content for social media, emails, and other forms of digital communication.
• Research, track, and analyse consumer behaviours and trends and implement research into digital marketing campaigns.
• Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.
• Develop and monitor campaign budgets.

Preferred qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of current digital trends
• 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software
• Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research
• Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
• Analytical mind, with a passion for measuring data
• Strong project management and managerial skills
• Ability to analyse consumer metrics, reports, and trends
