SUMMARY:
A leading South African Wholesale & Retail company seeks a Digital Marketing Assistant. This role supports the Marketing Manager in executing digital and traditional marketing strategies, managing digital assets, and collaborating with stakeholders to reach customers across South Africa.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Marketing/Communications Bachelor's degree
1-3 years’ experience
Retail/Wholesale market knowledge
Social/digital media management experience
Google Digital Marketing, Analytics, and Ads certifications
Graphic Design skills (Adobe Suite)
Copywriting abilities
Proficiency in Mailchimp, Adobe Suite, and Canva

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop digital marketing campaigns (digital, print, promotional)
Maintain consistent brand messaging
Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales
Create and send customer emails/newsletters
Launch promotional offers and events
Optimize website for increased traffic
Implement social media marketing best practices
Conduct social media and website performance audits
Manage online listings across e-commerce platforms
Track marketing metrics and analyzing digital data
Provide marketing administration and product management support
Manage promotional items and supplier relations
