SUMMARY:
Our client in the Plastic Industry is seeking an experienced Die Setter with a strong background in plastic injection moulding to join their team in the West Rand

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Die Setter in a plastic injection moulding environment.
Formal training from the Plastics Institute for Training (or equivalent).
Strong understanding of machine parameters, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Candidate must reside in the West Rand or be willing to relocate at their own expense

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and changeover plastic injection moulds efficiently.
Optimize machine settings for quality and production efficiency.
Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on moulding machines.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures.
Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and defects.
Maintain accurate records of mould changes and adjustments.
