POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leading innovator in financial wellness and inclusion, has developed a platform that enables employees to access their already earned wages early (EWA). They are now looking for a Developer – Technical Support to join their team.

Requirements:

• Computer Science Qualification or similar
• C# & SQL (anything over that in our stack is a bonus)

About the Role

• Provide Level 2 - Level 3 technical support
  • Raised via customer/client support
  • Raised via DataDog and Alerts
• Incident and problem co-ordination with Core Development Team
• Analyse and write SQL stored procedures in resolving issues
• Develop SQL scripts and modification of existing ones
• Resolve escalated issues and report software defects via Jira Service Management
• Support planning and implementation of changes/upgrades
• Adhere to internal SLA
• Log and report production issues (incident report)
• Assist core development with Database maintenance
• Improve and enhance PMN’s internal Admin platform
  • analyse user requirements
  • develop according to specifications, user requirements, and best practices.
  • write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
  • conduct unit testing & debugging
  • version control & documentation
  • troubleshooting & support
  • recommend and execute improvements
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular system maintenance tasks
• Documenting system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference

Other:

• After hours standby and on weekend and holidays on a rotational basis
• Must live near Stellenbosch or Northern Suburbs area to be able to work onsite.
• Own reliable transport (advantageous)
