SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their collaborative team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for web application software built with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and React front-end technologies.

POSITION INFO:
Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes setup, configuration, and debugging.
Proficiency in using GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
Experience with SQL Server debugging and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Linux environments and containerization technologies like Docker.
Experience with automated security testing and deploying applications with high security standards.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus for application performance and health.
Strong understanding of the Agile methodology and how to implement DevOps principles within an Agile framework.
A relevant university degree (e.g., B.Sc. or B.Eng.) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
A recognized DevOps certification will be highly beneficial.
Strong academic performance will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of web applications.
Automate all steps of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to streamline deployment and reduce manual intervention.
Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments for efficient application orchestration and scaling.
Configure and manage GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools for automated deployments and testing.
Work with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash to develop and maintain automation scripts.
Ensure efficient and secure deployment processes with Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL Server.
Implement automated security testing and monitoring solutions, including Prometheus, to ensure application reliability and security.
Collaborate with development teams to follow Agile methodologies and make data-driven decisions that impact the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and debug deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
