SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a DevOps Architect.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: DevOps Architect
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Extensive experience in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
Strong background in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise in CI/CD, version control systems, and infrastructure as code.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

Design and implement DevOps practices and workflows for software development.
Lead automation of build, deployment, and infrastructure processes.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines for scalability and performance.
Provide technical leadership in cloud infrastructure and containerization solutions.
