BEAUTY-SPA MANAGER with relevant Beauty Therapy qualification

DERDEPOORT, Pretoria - Gauteng (ZA)

Starting Date: May 2024

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Tuesday to Sunday 09:00 - 18:00
• Closed on Mondays + additional days off in the week (based on roster & operational requirements)

Reports to: Director

PACKAGE POTENTIAL & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R18,000 Basic per month (BOE & BOS)

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | ESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIRED:

1. Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
2. Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write)
3. BONUS - Afrikaans (understand, not necessarily speak)
4. 2-year Qualification 
5. Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
6. City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP
7. BONUS - Cruise Ship employment experience
8. At least 2 years experience in an Assistant Manager OR Manager of a day spa or high-end salon
9. Previous employment in a luxury establishment / hotel or cruise ship spa essential
10. Computer literate and confident 
11. Able to train employees on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
12. Able to lead and develop employees and services
13. Knowledge of spa procedures and ability to perform them where operationally required
14. Ability to focus attention on guest needs
15. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
16. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
17. Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
18. Able to assist with ad-hoc duties in other departments of the property if operationally required by management
19. Comfortable performing spa & beauty therapies when operationally / ad-hoc required
20. Skilled & Confident to perform the following therapies:

• Skin Care & Advanced Facials with Peels
• Body Therapies including Massage, Pedicures and Wraps
• Beauty Therapies including Waxing
