Data Scientist – Insurance & Underwriting

Drive AI & Machine Learning Innovation in Insurance!!

POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a Data Scientist to lead analytics and data-driven decision-making within the Chief Underwriting Office. This role is perfect for a data-driven professional passionate about leveraging machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics to revolutionize underwriting, claims, sales, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop advanced statistical models to optimize decision-making.
Lead machine learning and AI initiatives to drive business value.
Perform predictive modeling, forecasting, and data mining to identify risks and opportunities.
Build and enhance data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
Work closely with underwriting, claims, and product teams to integrate data-driven strategies.
Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of innovation.
Stay ahead of emerging analytics and cloud technologies to continuously improve business processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 4–6+ years in data science, big data analytics, or AI-driven decision-making.
Technical Skills: Python, SQL, Power BI, Azure, API integration.
Machine Learning Expertise: Classification models, anomaly detection, regression, and neural networks.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data.
Communication: Ability to translate data insights into business impact.
Education: BSc in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Data Science-specific degree.
