POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of data scientists to develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms that enhance patient care, optimize operational efficiency, and improve clinical decision-making.
Manage the end-to-end process of data analysis, from data extraction and cleansing to model development and implementation, ensuring solutions are scalable and reliable.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to identify data opportunities that improve patient outcomes and optimize resource utilization.
Oversee the development of real-time dashboards, reporting tools, and actionable insights to inform strategic healthcare decisions.
Stay updated on emerging healthcare trends, regulatory requirements, and innovations in data science to drive continuous improvements.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience leading data science teams in a healthcare or health-tech setting.
Expertise in healthcare data, such as electronic health records (EHR), clinical trial data, medical imaging, or patient management systems.
Strong background in machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics, with the ability to apply these techniques to real-world healthcare challenges.
Proficient in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), and the ability to navigate complex data environments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical healthcare professionals.
