SUMMARY:
A dynamic global organization based in Midrand is looking to employ a Data Engineer with 3 – 5 years’ experience using various tools and methods to collect, analyze and present data

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Matric
BSc Computer Science / B.tech in IT / Data scientist / Analytics (statistics)
Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
3 – 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
SQL & Power BI experience and knowledge (essential)
Candidate must be Google Cloud certified
Responsible for data ingestion, transformation, dashboard creation, and tactical delivery of insights, analytics, and support to various business functions
Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and other data reporting systems to provide actionable insights
Utilize Power BI and other tools to visualize data and support business functions with meaningful analytic
Proactively identify reporting needs and ensure the quality delivery of reports and dashboards
Ensure data security and compliance within cloud environments
Translate data into meaningful insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database management
Proficiency in building and maintaining ETL pipelines
Experience in querying, transforming, and managing large datasets in Big Query
