SUMMARY:
A client in the heart of Johannesburg North is looking for a Data Architect who will design, implement and maintain data structures.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a combination of these
Data architecture certifications for big data and cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a data engineering and data architecture role
Working with large scale data
Understanding of data flows between systems, ETL and processing of structured / unstructured data
Project management / consulting experience applied cross-functional projects

KPAs:

Apply technologies to solve big data problems and develop big data solutions
Assist with research development
Determine and refine requirements
Create database solutions by evaluating business requirements
Optimize and oversee the organizations conceptual and logical systems
