Duties:

• Gather data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, spreadsheets, surveys).
• Analyse data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Implement data quality checks and maintain documentation of data sources and methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and objectives.
• Identify inefficiencies in data processes and implement solutions to improve workflows.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics.
• Stay up to date with new data analysis methods, tools, and industry trends.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics
• Honour’s degree in data science, business analytics or relevant fields will be beneficial.
• Relevant certifications can strengthen a candidate’s profile: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Certificate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, SAS Certified Data Scientist, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty

• 3 - 5 Years of experience in data analytics and script development.
• Proficiency in using analytics tools such as ACL, IDEA, or SQL.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for data visualization and reporting.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Results-oriented with a high drive to meet objectives and standards.
• Ability to manage and resolve technical issues with data analytics tools.
• Understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modelling.
• Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and finance.
