We are looking for a Data Analyst with an Accounting Background to enhance financial reporting, streamline tax processes, and implement cutting-edge software solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Financial Reporting
• Collect, process, and analyze financial data to support accounting and tax functions.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for real-time reporting and forecasting.
• Identify trends and provide data-driven insights to improve financial decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity by identifying inconsistencies, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Software & Process Automation
• Research and evaluate new accounting and financial software to improve efficiency.
• Work with internal teams to implement and integrate new financial tools and data systems.
• Automate repetitive accounting and tax reporting tasks to enhance accuracy and reduce manual workload.
• Provide training and support to finance teams on software usage and data interpretation.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and data security policies.
• Assist in tax calculations, filings, and financial reconciliations.
• Conduct risk assessments related to financial reporting and software implementations.
• Collaboration & Business Support
• Work closely with accounting, audit, and IT teams to streamline reporting processes.
• Provide support on special projects, including financial planning, tax strategy, and internal audits.
• Recommend best practices for data management, storage, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Drivers License and own vehicle
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with financial data and accounting software (e.g., Xero, ERP systems).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and a basic understanding of SQL, Python, or Power BI.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present meaningful insights.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
