Requirements:

• Must have matric
• Must have code 08 licence
• Experience as a part salesman in truck dealerships or simular position will be an added advantage
  

Minimum Requirement

• Matric plus N4 in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting.
• Completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner.
• A recognized Trade Test certificate, Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner.
• At least 5 years heavy industrial fitting experience.
• Good knowledge & experience of process operations and maintenance of centrifugals, vacuum pumps, positive displacement pumps, screw conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, fans, and bucket elevators.
• A good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• A specific knowledge of Rawhouse equipment.
• Good fault-finding / problem solving skills.
• A good understanding of condition based monitoring and modern alignment.
• Conversant with planned maintenance system will be an added advantage.
• Basic rigging and welding experience will be an added advantage.

Manufacturing Industry

• Engage with Suppliers that meet the commercial and technical quality standards/specification

Requirements

• Diploma / B. Tech in Purchasing, Supply and Material Management/ B Comm in Finance
• Engineering qualification will be an advantage
• Engineering work experience
• Understanding of the cost and financial processes associated with the operation and performance of sugar factory
• 5 years procurement on projects and raw materials management in a manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of SHREQ and FSSC, Food safety

Academic Qualifications

• Matric/ Grade 12.
• BCom degree or finance related/imports qualification

Experience

• 5 to 10 years creditors experience
• Preferably over 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• At least 1 to 2 years imports experience
• Sound knowledge of Incoterms
• Sound knowledge of SAP

Key Performance Areas

• Ensure the full accounts payable functions are well controlled and regular payments are made to all suppliers, both local and foreign vendors in accordance with company policy and procedures
• Check payment reconciliation, verify and sign off remittance and payment reconciliations
• Ensure all new supplier account details are vetted and have been correctly captured in the Creditors master file
• Weekly analysing and clearing of GRIR report
• Responsible for co-ordinating of team’s work – ensuring batches are processed timeously,checking for accuracy and SARS compliance
• GL reconciliation
• Generate report from SAP for BBBEE spend and ensure certificates are valid
• Compiling of SHE data/Environmental KPI on a monthly basis

AUTOMOTIVE AND TYRE INDUSTRY

Matric / Senior Certificate

Sales & Service Centre experience of 12 months advantageous

Tyre Industry experience of 12 months advantageous

Retail experience of 6 months advantageous
