SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf for a client for a senior leader to manage and enhance our cybersecurity architecture and engineering team. This role will lead a small team responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving the security technology stack with a focus on a zero-trust approach. You will leverage modern technology and AI capabilities to support the organization's digital transformation and ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements

12 years relevant experience in the cyber and information security discipline.
5 years experience in security engineering.
2 years experience in security architecture.
2 years experience in people leadership.
4-year IT qualification.
Demonstrable experience in leading a specialised cybersecurity team within a large environment.
Experience with security operations tools, frameworks, practices, and processes.
Industry certifications (e.g. Palo, Google, AWS, Qualys).
Resiliency, determination, and pragmatism.
May be required to assist outside of working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the cybersecurity architecture and engineering team.
Maintain and enhance the cybersecurity architecture and technology landscape.
Identify solutions to improve visibility, reduce noise, and automate or consolidate security measures.
Contribute to business cases and provide strategic security input.
Support proactive threat modeling and collaborate with other cyber and technology teams.
Enhance technology solutions to automate and streamline operations.
Lead security tool configuration (coding/scripting) in collaboration with SOC teams.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
