POSITION INFO:
This role is responsible for evaluating and managing the financial risks associated with lending and credit decisions. Their primary goal is to assess the likelihood that a borrower will repay their debts and to minimize the financial risk for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Assessments: Review new credit requests and analyze financials to assess risk.
Project Finance Analysis: Assess project finance transactions and identify risks.
Credit Ratings & Loss Assessment: Prepare credit ratings and LGD calculations for counter-parties.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and partners.
Client Relationship Management: Attend client meetings to understand needs and ensure successful service delivery.
Risk Reporting: Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, highlighting potential concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

1-3 years of experience in credit risk analysis.
CA(SA)/CFA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Proven ability to analyze new credit requests.
Experience in project finance.
Strong relationship-building skills to develop effective relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to attend client meetings and maintain strong relationships for successful service delivery.
Proficient in preparing ratings and loss given default assessments for credit counter-parties.
