SUMMARY:
Are you a driven, analytical professional seeking an exciting role in credit analysis? This independent Investment firm is looking for an Institutional Credit Analyst to play a pivotal role in analyzing, recommending, and monitoring credit quality of direct and indirect issuers.
POSITION INFO:
This position offers high visibility within the organization, working closely with the Investment Team, Client Relationship Managers, and Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on the financial condition of existing and new issuers, including financial institutions, REITs, investment companies, and agricultural borrowers.
- Prepare and present credit presentations recommending new or incremental credit exposure.
- Monitor ongoing financial performance of counterparties, ensuring covenant compliance.
- Review loan documentation for credit acceptability.
- Act as Secretary for the credit working group and support additional duties as needed.
- Analyze credit investments, prepare investment papers, and present to relevant committees.
- Assist with credit fund management, client reporting, and financial model updates.
- Support ESG/Sustainability investment reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:- CA(SA) designation with financial services audit experience and/or CFA charter holder preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years (CA(SA)) or 5 years (CFA charter holders) of relevant full-time work experience in banking, asset management, or private equity.
- Proven track record of professional excellence.
- Strong Excel skills required.
