About the Role

As a Credit & Settlement Risk Analyst, you'll be responsible for assessing and mitigating credit and settlement risk for a broad portfolio of clients in the region. From conducting institutional and sovereign risk research to managing stress scenarios and collaborating with cross-functional teams, your work will directly impact strategic decisions and operational success.

What You’ll Do

✔ Monitor and assess credit risks across clients and markets
✔ Conduct in-depth research on financial institutions and sovereign risks
✔ Support business growth with country and client-level insights
✔ Handle high-pressure scenarios, including client defaults and settlement issues
✔ Analyze data, generate risk reports, and present insights
✔ Work closely with teams in Business Development, Legal, Licensing, Operations, and Risk
✔ Provide high-quality internal support and ensure timely risk responses

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
5–7 years’ experience in corporate credit analysis, financial institutions, or sovereign risk
Solid understanding of the banking, fintech, and payments landscape
Strong communication and analytical skills
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, graphs, dashboards)
Ability to work independently under pressure and respond to urgent risk matters
Fluency in French is a plus
