Duties:

• Perform cost analysis and reporting to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operational efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Support decision-making processes with insightful financial analysis.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Cost and Management Accountant
• BCom Honours
• CIMA studying or qualified

• 3 - 5 Years experience in a cost and management role
• 3 – 5 Years experience in the manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software.
• Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and develop solutions to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
