SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join a leading organization in the steel industry. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in cost management and financial analysis in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tracking and allocating production costs, including raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead, while conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs. Additionally, the role involves assisting in budgeting and forecasting to ensure accurate financial projections and cost control, supporting pricing decisions by analyzing product costs and profitability, and collaborating with operations and supply chain teams to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Skills and Requirements:

CIMA qualified
Strong costing background
People management experience is imperative
Experience with BOMs and variance analysis
Steel industry background is highly beneficial
