POSITION INFO:

Preparing annual budgets and monthly cash flow forecasts
Approving purchase requisitions in the financial system
Compiling departmental variance reports (actual vs. budget)
Collecting and analysing operational cost data
Developing and evaluating cost standards for accuracy
Establishing costs for key business processes like labour, administration, and shipping
Preparing accrual journals and monthly production reports
Performing account reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy
Creating audit reports and presenting findings to management
Recommending process and policy changes to improve profitability
Assisting departments with cost allocation and financial guidance

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Mining experience (advantageous)

Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
