SUMMARY:
Credit Analyst (Corporate) – Sandton, Johannesburg
A financial services company is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their team in Sandton. The role involves assessing corporate clients' creditworthiness, managing deals through various stages, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulations.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements to assess profitability, liquidity, and leverage.
Research industry trends to provide insights for credit decisions.
Conduct due diligence, including legal reviews and site visits.
Make recommendations on credit limits, terms, and conditions.
Support legal processes and assess risks in transaction changes.
Contribute to credit-related projects and professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

BCom degree with Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
At least two years of experience in credit risk management (corporate/commercial sector).
Knowledge of the National Credit Act.
