Corporate Actions Specialist

SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role to provide exposure to perform daily operational duties for Corporate Actions relating to equities, bonds, money market, proxy voting warrants and debt instruments.

POSITION INFO:
Grade 12 or equivalent

Degree in Business and/or BComm advantageous

Knowledge of securities industry, including Corporate Actions relating to equities, bonds, money market, proxy voting warrants and debt instruments.

Provide a service and support in the business

Perform operational duties that are related Corporate Actions - This includes Money Market, Proxy Voting Warrants and Debt Instruments.

Support in building foundations for improving business processes;

Assist in the analyse of new business requirements where required; e.g. ECASS – Equities, Money Markets and Bonds

Analyse data, collate and summarise at various levels where needed.

Support and assist with the change requests to ensure requests are controlled and prioritised according to business objectives and requirements as per operational need.
