Conveyancing Paralegal

SUMMARY:
Our client, a firm of Attorneys, seeks your conveyancing experience to take up this 3.5 months fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be able to execute a variety of conveyancing paralegal duties of a confidential nature.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / National Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience working in a Conveyancing environment.
• Experienced Paralegal with both transfer and bonds experience with all major banks.
• Computer literate (MS Office Suite) including Excel.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent command of English.
• Meticulous and able to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise duties and remain claim under pressure.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Typing speed of 45+ wpm, strong pref.
• In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential.

• Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, including document preparation, client communication and liaising with relevant parties.
• Liaise with various banks.
• Handle bonds and transfers with precision and efficiency.
• Facilitate and finalise bond cancellations
• Assist with property transfers timeous.
• Achieve deadlines and ensure timeous completion of all conveyancing tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and files.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of FICA.

• Work effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
